Terms and Conditions for Financial Wellness Contest 

1. Promotion Period: 
The contest begins at 12:01 a.m. on December 1, 2024, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on March 15, 2025. 

2. Eligibility: 
Participants must deposit at least $1,000 into a non-redeemable Turtleford Credit Union Term, RRSP or TFSA for a length of time no less than 1 year. Eligible funds can be new to Turtleford Credit Union (such as from another financial institution) or transferred from an existing Turtleford Credit Union chequing or savings account. Term renewals or funds transferred from an existing non-redeemable term, RRSP, or TFSA at Turtleford Credit Union are excluded from the contest.  

Participants can win one time only - should a participant win a monthly draw their name will be withdrawn from future draws. 

3. How to Enter: 
Each new non-redeemable term deposit of $1,000 or more grants one entry into the contest. A maximum of four entries are allowed, provided each entry meets the minimum deposit amount and length of time requirement.  

4. Prizes: Four (4) prizes are available, each consisting of one $250 Co-op Gift Card. 

5. Odds of Winning: The odds are dependent on the number of eligible entries received during the promotion period. 

6. Draw Dates: 
  • December 16, 2024, for entries received between December 1, 2024, and December 15, 2024. 
  • January 16, 2025, for entries received between December 1, 2024, and January 15, 2025. 
  • February 18, 2025, for entries received between December 1, 2024, and February 15, 2025. 
  • March 17, 2025, for entries received between December 1, 2024, and March 15, 2025. 
7. Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted up to three times. If a winner cannot be contacted, the entry will be forfeited, and another draw will be conducted. This process repeats until the prize is awarded. 
 
8. Skill-Testing Question: Winners must answer the mathematical question: (4 x 50) + (51 - 1) to claim their prize. 

9. Consent: By entering, winners' consent to Turtleford Credit Union publishing their name and/or photo on platforms, including the website, newspapers, social media, and other publications, without further remuneration. 

10. Privacy Policy: Personal information collected in connection with this contest will be used in accordance with Turtleford Credit Union's privacy legislation and retention of records policy. 

11. Right to Terminate: Turtleford Credit Union reserves the right to terminate, amend, or suspend the contest without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances that interfere with the contest's proper conduct as per these Official Rules.
